I need to make more of an effort to keep up with this blog.
I have decided to make each post's title displaying what the post will be about, instead of the date it was made and posted.
Game Change.
There are several things that are different than the last time I posted.
1. I have had a Birthday. (No longer a teen)
2. I am currently the Leading Educator for the school aged children at my child care centre.
3. I am changing the way I write the post's titles.
4. I am improving my health dramatically.
The last one is a big one for me. This week I have been really on top of my health and habits. I have been eating healthy every day with only a tiny portion of bad food. I have been exercising every day, going on half-an-hours walk with my boyfriend. I really want to lose weight for myself and so I can look good as a bridesmaid at my older sister's wedding in 2017. I have over a year to be in the best shape I could possibly be! I think it is achievable as long as I keep up this healthy habit. Watch this blog for my weight loss updates.
I will promise to write more.

Twenty Third of August, Two Thousand and Fiftteen
I have been a little absent from this blog over the past two months. I have knuckled down, as some may say, on my diploma studies and handed in the last few units. Tomorrow one of my trainers will be out to visit me, hopefully for the last time! I am glad I have got this far and as much as I want to continue on with my work, I think I may take a break from this career. I am young and there are many different types of jobs I can work in, I don't want to settle into just one in my life.
I am trying to figure out what else I am good at. I love working with computers so I am thinking a desk job, but I don't really have experience. I would like to study graphic design, but believe I am not good enough or have creative ideas. We are expected to know what we want to do with ourselves when we grow up and make decisions on what we learn at school based on what our careers might be when we finished. How do we know what we really want to do at 15, 16 or 17? I have always wanted to work with kids, but I also like to read, I like to use computers and I enjoyed working at a clothing store as a casual. Do I always want to work in child care, or is there something else out there that I want to do, or I am good at but not know it? I am almost 20 and I don't know where I can see myself in 5 years.
For now I will stick to child care, as I have spent several years studying to become a qualified worker in the sector, but who knows what I might be doing in a year, 5 years or even 10 years. Maybe a job from home, maybe a job that takes me travelling all over the world. Live your life how you want to live it. Don't like it how it currently is? Change it, make it worth living the best you could possibly be.
All for now, Rhi

Twenty First of June, Two Thousand and Fifteen
In this post, I will be displaying some of my photography edits and graphics. I hope you enjoy my attempts, with knowing I am no expert in each field, in your mind.
This is my final edited photo of Dolphins, taken in Rockingham, Western Australia. I was very lucky to meet about 12 Dolphins that day! In this photo, you can see 8 of them.
This collage shows you the edit I did to the photo. I made the photo look brighter as it was an overcast day.
This is my 2nd attempt at drawing on the computer, using a different application than my first attempt (here). I wasn't too pleased with my result.
This is a 3rd go at a Harry Potter themed graphic. I like this one the most out of all 3 tries. I put a lot of work into this one compared to the other attempts.
I will add more to this blog as I learn more and more new tricks and tips. Thank you for viewing today's post.

Fourth of June, Two Thousand and Fifteen
Hello internet, hope you are having an alright night/day today.
Last night I did a thing. A sort of big thing. I finally went to the hairdressers and got my hair cut in half. The lady took a photo of my hair before she started cutting it, surprising me, it was down to my bottom! I had about 30cm cut off the length, as well as getting it layered. It feels much, much lighter than what it used to feel like! I am very happy with the outcome of the trip to the hairdressers.
When I came to work this morning, some of the girls thought I was a new carer/parent! Everyone thought it looked great, and I haven't stopped smiling about my hair. I am really glad I decided to get it cut finally.
On the weekend I brought a new book, even though I haven't finished the Diary of Anne Frank! I brought Grimm's Fairy-tales. I've always wanted to read their versions. Because the stories only last about 5 pages, I can read a story whenever I feel like it. I've decided to start another reading challenge, this time it will only go for 7 months (1st of June - 1st of December), then after a months break, I will do a full year challenge. Following this link is my previous go at a reading challenge: http://randomdust.blog.com/2012-reading-challenge/. This challenge will be scaled down for 7 months, but as usual, I wish to go above and beyond my target. With this challenge, each separate story in Grimm's Fairy-tales, will count as one, not the whole book.
Today is only a short blog post, I will hopefully do a bigger one next time.
Bye for now,

Fourteenth of May, Two Thousand and Fifteen
It has been a few weeks since I have last posted, I am trying not to fall behind like I did on my old blog.
I recently went and saw the new Avengers movie with my boyfriend. I have not seen the first Avengers movie or any of the single character movies beforehand, so there were some parts I had no clue what was going on. It was a really awesome movie, I have slowly begun to watch all the single character movies and the first Avengers movie because I found it so good. I am actually getting ready to watch Thor!
So far (in order of when I watched each movie), I have seen Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Avengers, Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and now Thor.*
I have sort of fallen in love with the multi-universe and some of the characters are amazing (I like Black Widow and Captain America the most!) and I am so excited for Spider-man joining the multi-universe, crossing my fingers they will keep Andrew Garfield as Peter/Spider-man as he is amazing and gahhhhhhhhhhh, if they replace him I will scream.
It getting late in the evening so I am going to make this post a short one, let's hope I enjoy Thor as much as the other movies, I already enjoyed Chris Hemsworth as Kim Hyde on Home and Away, I am assuming I will enjoy Thor as well.
Bye for now, Rhi!
*After researching the Marvel universe and what is included in it, I've realised I have also seen 'Guardians of the Galaxy' but did not realise it was connected, this is technically the first movie I have seen from the Marvel Universe after discovering this fact and is so far the only movie in the Marvel universe that I do not like.

Nineteenth of April, Two Thousand and Fifteen
This week has been an emotional week!
On Friday, it was the last day for my boss before she starts her new job tomorrow (Monday). It was a little emotional as she has done so much for our centre and helped us achieve great things. She has promised that we will see her in the future and not to miss her too much. I beg to differ on the latter.
On Saturday, I went to the airport to pick up my younger sister to surprise our older sister for her Birthday. Our older sister was very happy with her surprise and cried with happiness. It was a nice night and I enjoyed spending it with my family and boyfriend.
Today, I had to take my little sister back to the airport as school starts back up tomorrow, then my boyfriend and I went to the local shopping mall to replace a missing screw in my glasses (yes, I wear glasses). We walked around Target while the lady at the eye shop was fixing my glasses, and bought two movies, The Water Diviner and The Amazing Spider-man. After my boyfriend got a haircut and I bought a few books from Dymocks (Anne Frank, The Diary of a Young Girl and The Pointless Book by Alfie Deyes), we went to my house to watch The Water Diviner.
It's a beautiful movie, but very sad. There were a few times I cried. Next weekend is ANZAC weekend, the movie is based off the war at Gallipoli and how a father tries to find where his sons were killed in the war.
I find these types of movies are much more of an emotional ride than others as they are based off real events. There were plenty of families back home who lost sons in the wars. My father was in the Vietnam war, war affects everyone, some quite more than others.
After watching the movie, lovely boyfriend went home and I began reading the diary of Anne Frank and watching Mockingjay part 1, both are also related to wars, one real and one in a dystopian world. I've only just read up to the part where Anne and her family go into hiding.
It is an amazing piece of history that gives you are rare sight of what it must of been like for a Jew in Hitler's era. It's sad that so many Jews were killed simply because one person didn't like them and had the power to abolish them. It is amazing that Anne Frank and the other people hiding in the secret annex for just over two years before being captured, then sent off to concentration camps and the like.I've always enjoyed reading about history and would get away with reading other historic stories in my Society and Environment class.
The first time I became interested in Anne Frank was in 2010, when I was doing a research essay on Emmett Till, a young African-American boy murdered during segregation times in the United States. Anne Frank was noted in on of the articles I read as they were both young when killed. My teacher didn't mind that I had gone astray and started searching about Anne Frank, as I was interested in doing History class in Year 11 and 12, with Nazi Germany being one of the main exam topics. Unfortunately I ended up not doing the course and chose Certificate II in Community Services, under the Child care stream.
I am now going to end this and get back to Anne Frank's Diary. Bye-bye for now,
Rhi

Twelth of April, Two Thousand and Fifteen
Hello, this is my first post on this new blog. I am swapping over to Blogpost/Blogger as it is much more steadier and reliable than the last platform I used.
Firstly: To view my old posts, you can access them here randomdust.blog.com.
Secondly: I already have a blog on Blogspot, you can access it here rhiplayssims.blogspot.com. This blog as you could tell by the title is about Sims. If you happen to be a fan, go check it out. I may sometimes post about other games, like Cities: Skylines, as I have become a recent fan.
I am now going to introduce myself to you, because right now, I have no about me page. I am a 19 year old female living in the beautiful country of Australia, and earns a paycheck by looking after young children. I am currently studying my Diploma for Children’s Services but interested in studying other, non-work related courses, particularly Graphics and coding for computer.
I am a Potterhead, a Directioner, and a Simmer. Yes, I do categorise myself in several more groups, but these are the top three. The majority of my posts on my old blog were directed for Harry Potter and One Direction, whereas I have my Sims blog to fulfill my need to post about Sims. I will most likely talk about 1D and Harry Potter on this new blog as much as I did on my last one.
My old blog was titled ‘Random Dust’, due to someone already having that name on this platform, I have had to change it. I still kept random in the name, as my blog is pretty random. I will talk about anything and everything.
I am currently procrastinating doing my study by typing this blog post up, but I should really get stuck into it as I have 3 assignments due in 3 days. Yeah, I am also quite late enough handing 2 of them in already.
I am looking forward to posting more on here and hopefully gaining a following. :)
